Handbag Essential For Dry, Chapped Lips.

Handbag Essential For Dry, Chapped Lips.

If you know me, you know I'm a bit addicted to a lip balm or lip oil. I don't enjoy dry, chapped or dull looking lips, it's uncomfortable but also ages you drastically. I've tried allot of these products over the years and have popped below some of the ones I always have in my handbag. Thank me later!

1. MUA Metamorphosis Lip & Cheek Oil

This is one of my faves and it only costs £3.50 - you can pick one up in Superdrug's. I love this one because it applies clear and then adapts to your skin's pH, which then changes into your perfect tone of flushed pink. It's a little wake up for your lips, like a little shot of coffee. The oil like formula feels soft and nourishing on your lips, no issues with stickiness. 10/10 from me. A selection of shades, choose here

2. Huda Beauty FauxFiller Jelly Oil

If you're looking for nourishment but full on shine - a healthy, plump shine, this one's for you. I rate Huda for this one actually, I've never come across anything as shiny without the stickiness. She's nailed it. It's full of nourishing ingredients which help keep chapped lips at bay. £21, it comes in 3 shades at the moment, take your pick here

3.   Glossier Balm Dotcom

This one's a cult fave, it's a do it all lip balm. I love the fact that it's just easy to apply, just one squeeze and it instantly softens and smooths your lips and smells great if you opt for a fruity flavoured one. You can also use it on other parts of your body -  cuticles, hands, elbows to name a few. You can snap one up for £16, slightly more expensive but lasts a long time. They've just launched a couple of new scents, take a peak here.

4.  Fara Homidi Soft Glass Lip Plumping Oil

If you want to invest a little more, around £30 more than a Glossier at £43, then this ones by Fara Homidi is a must. It's a glass-like ultra cushiony hybrid balm-in-oil, with clinically  proven maximal hydrating and plumping properties that soften and amplify the lips. I love the fact that it has skin forward ingredients that act as a treatment and gloss in one. 2 shades available, both just as nice.

A tip from me, keep a classic balm in your bag for everyday hydration and an oil like the Huda Jelly Lip Oil for those last minute refresh, if you ever need to go out last minute, it's your go-to product for instant glam.
